Volunteering at Leduc West

It doesn't matter if you are 8 or 80 years of age -

there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer at Leduc West.

If you are interested in learning a new skill, or just pitching in to help prepare, maintain,

or preserve historic buildings or artifacts we can use your help.

Throughout the year there are dedicated volunteers who work together to preserve

our vision of "Living the Past for Future Generations".

Your commitment can be as little as three hours for a single project,

a full day for days when we open to the public, or for regular activities

like building and facility maintenance, grass cutting, gardening and more!

We are looking for all levels of skills and abilities and a broad range of interests.

Here are just a few areas where we are looking for volunteers:

And much more...

Here are some specific opportunities/positions with flexible schedules:

COMMUNICATIONS

Do you have interest in sharing via social media? Interested in helping to promote events and happenings at Leduc West? We'd love to chat!
IT SUPPORT
Our focus on preserving the past requires that we embrace technology as it empowers our capability to deliver a high quality visitor experience. If you have experience in server or network management, cabling and support we'd be happy to discuss our plans for expanding our IT capacity.

COLLECTION CATALOGING

We have a fantastic collection of artifacts that range from tiny to massive. Keeping track of the collection is crucial moving forward, so we have begun implementing a tracking/inventory system for artifacts. If you have interest in history, research or data entry this may be just the place for you!

If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas (or other areas not listed)

please reach out to us at info@leducwestantique.com

There are great opportunities for families or groups to volunteer together!

We'd love to work with you.
