Outside again, some folks sought more hands-on activities. Lacking the appropriate tool this young lady attempted to hammer a nail home with a rock. It didn't prove too successful so she moved on to other things.
Here a young man would like to get 'hands-on' with a 'John Deere' that is just his size. This beautifully made mini-Deere is actually powered by an International stationary engine.
Later in the parade the owner demonstrates one of the tractor's unique features. Don't try this at home, kids.

Pictured below is another unususal creation, this time in the car display.
Here's a vehicle that generated a lot of interest -- it is a 1933 Essex Terraplane owned by Clark and Doreen Smith of Edmonton.
For those who preferred something sportier there was an Austin Healy 3000 Mk III.
Just beyond the cars was a motorcycle display which included this Sunbeam.

Next to the motorcycles were the antique engines. To the left Andrew Scott starts his International 'M'. Below his Waterloo engine is running well.

Here a grain grinder is driven by a Fairbanks Morse engine. This display owned and restored by Bob Weiss

Jeff Allen, in the dark glasses, answers questions about his engines. New to his collection this year is the Bob-a-lawn mower shown below. Powered -- or underpowered Jeff might say -- by an Iron Horse engine, it was probably made in the late 1940s or early 1950s.

A De Laval engine drives a milking machine, left.

Right, a venerable Massey Harris engine belonging to Glen Sitler.
