Here's a pleased Baren Stewart - his Oliver 88 would pull Saturday for the first time. We catch up to him again in the parade, this time accompanied by his son.
Yes, this really is a tractor, a Gray. Steering was not one of its strengths. Instead of rear wheels it had a single large roller driven by twin chains, so there was no differential - the roller would have to skid around turns. Steering wheel and driver's seat seem to be afterthoughts as well.

Cockshutt was well represented.
An auction sale bill was being handed out to admirers of this Minneapolis Moline tractor. Owners Helen and Ken Wardlow of Drayton Valley are selling their collection, including this 'M.M. "R" tricycle with 2 way one bottom plows' on September 18th, 2004. Further information, according to the handbill, is available at www.oldsauction.com.
